School starts in 2 weeks and I’m beginning to get excited! I can look at the students in my class via the course management software provided by the university. It’s funny but true, a picture says a 1000 words. I try not to make judgments on their personality based on their picture, but sometimes it is hard. Some people are smiley and cute, others look sweaty and dorky (my freshman enrollment picture was this way). I haven’t decided yet what that says about them other than some picked hot days to come to campus.
It makes me a bit misty eyed. I’m thinking about all the great things they can do if they want to. For many of them this is their first time away from home. Will they make friends? Will they study? Will they date? Will they be sober? All important questions.
