Funny not funny?

“Glenn Murphy, head of the Young Republican National Federation, until a few days ago when he was caught performing fellatio on an unconsenting, sleeping Young Republican”.

I read this article and just about died laughing, but I don’t know why. Sexual assault is wrong and I’m not laughing at that. I guess I’m laughing because the guy doing the assaulting was the former head of the Young Republican National Federation. I don’t know anything about his politics, but the Republican National Committee is pretty firm against homo-anything. I can only assume they are embarrassed.

Ok, I’ll stop now

  1. There is a word to accurately describe your feelings, Tara: Schadenfreude. It’s that gloriously naughty feeling you get when you feel oh so very happy when something oh so very bad has happened to someone who either deserves it or whom you don’t like very much. Yay Schadenfreude!

  2. Schadenfreude. I’m going to find a way to work that into conversation soon.
