Sad cooking incident

The last time I was grocery shopping decided to try a cornish hen. I followed the recipe exactly, which I never do. I put it in the oven for the exact time and temperature, but it wasn’t cooking all the way through (it wasn’t frozen either). I decided it would help to cut it open so the middle would cook. As I was cutting it, half the bird flew off the cutting board and fell on to a mouse trap on the floor. I was so frustrated I threw the other half away and ate an avocado instead.

The lesson here is never to cook meat again.
