I’m a good tipper, or I think I’m a good tipper. I generally tip 20% or more if the service is spectacular (this is generally at salons). I realized that tip jars are everywhere now, I think I’m going to put one out at my reference desk. How do you know what to tip? At first I thought you could just drop in your change if you paid in cash. But I noticed many places have a tip line on a credit receipt. I’m so confused.
