I rented movies for the weekend. I haven’t rented a movie since November. There were so many to chose from, and almost everything I wanted was taken. But I settled on three and only have one left to watch.
No Country for Old Men-I thought it would be awesome. Tommy Lee Jones, guns, semi-western, and a crazy killer. What’s not to love? But I thought it was just ok. Not as westerny as I thought. But I’m glad I watched it.
Tell Me You Love Me-This is a HBO series that I vaughly remember hearing about a while back. I think the first season only has 4 or 5 episodes. I really liked it. It follows three couples going to therapy. Since it is HBO, lots of sex and nudity. What’s unusual is the therapist and her husband are shown in intimate moments. Ok, not too weird. But the the couple is in their 60s (I could be off about the age). I don’t think I’ve ever seen an older couple on tv with a sex life. I’d like to rent the other episodes.
Now I’m loading up Sunshine. I’m really pumped about this one. It has lots of elements I like to see in a movie-outragous sci-fi natural disaster (dying sun), bombs, and cute people. And it was created by the same guy who did 28 Days Later. My favorite zombie film ever! I’ll let you know if it is awesome
